What is Talent Finders Day?
Talent Finders Day is a dedicated recruitment event delivered as part of the Teamworks Hub programme. It gives participants the opportunity to meet employers face-to-face, learn about live entry-level vacancies and take practical steps toward securing employment, education or training opportunities.
Who can attend Talent Finders Day?
Talent Finders Day is open to individuals who are participating in the Teamworks Hub employability programme AND anyone who is looking to progress on their employment journey, irrespective of whether they have completed an employability programme! Our Talent Finders Days are different. If you have visited Jobs Fairs before and have found a lot of training organisations or single industries, we hear you! Teamworks Hub Talent Finders day has developed to ensure a range of employers from many industries, all of whom are required to have live recruitment opportunities.
What happens on the day?
Participants will meet a range of employers who are actively recruiting. You will have the opportunity to introduce yourself, discuss available roles, submit your CV and, in some cases, arrange interviews or next steps. The event is professional but supportive, designed to help you showcase your skills and potential.
What types of jobs are available?
Employers attending Talent Finders Day typically recruit for entry-level roles across a variety of sectors, including retail, customer service, logistics, healthcare, security, hospitality and more. Opportunities may include full-time, part-time or apprenticeship pathways.
Do I need to bring anything?
You should bring copies of your CV and be prepared to talk confidently about your skills, strengths and career interests. Smart dress is recommended to make a positive first impression.
How should I prepare?
As part of Teamworks Hub, you will receive support with CV writing, interview techniques and workplace expectations. Reviewing your CV beforehand, researching the employers attending and preparing a short introduction about yourself will help you make the most of the day.
Will I get a job on the day?
While job offers cannot be guaranteed, many participants secure interviews, trial shifts or direct employment offers as a result of conversations at Talent Finders Day. The event is designed to create real, immediate opportunities.
What support is available during the event?
Teamworks Hub staff will be present throughout the day to provide guidance, introductions and encouragement. We ensure the environment remains welcoming and supportive, helping you feel confident when speaking to employers.
What happens after Talent Finders Day?
Ongoing support continues after the event. The Teamworks Hub team will help you follow up with employers, prepare for interviews and explore further opportunities if needed, ensuring you remain supported on your journey into employment.
